    Red Rock, Arizona, United States
Hike the river! It is free, it is fun, and the whole family can enjoy it! Be sure to bring a change of clothes, socks and shoes for EVERYONE because the red dirt will stain everything. The views here are breathtaking. You can just sit on the rocks with a book and soak in the sunshine, grab a raft and head up river to tumble down some mild rapids, or just take some pictures to remind you of what perfection looks like.

    - in summer very hot, if hiking drink a lot of water and don't go down to the river and up the same day, it's a long distance
    - food is expensive and not very good
    - camping is possible, cheap and the campsite is quite nice on the south rim

    Franklin, Arizona, United States
There is literally nothing in this town. It's just where a variety of mormons, meth addicts, and farmers reside. The only public thing there is a convienence store on the edge of the highway called "Franklin Store". But if you need to buy something, I suggest just keep on going until you hit Duncan, Arizona (only about 4 miles away) and buy gas from Chapparal Motel/Mini Mart. The gas is usually cheaper in Duncan than in Franklin. Although if you are interested in seeing a strange looking store, go ahead into the Franklin store. It's odd.
