You happen to visit Big Sur, make sure to take some time off the road and walk the Julia Pfeiffer Burns State Park Trail.

Big Sur is very beautiful. However hope for good weather driving on Hwy 1 because of windy roads on the side of a cliff for at least a 45 min. drive from cambria and same maybe more from Monteray. Once your there everything is mapped and easy. Bring some spare money for parking and gifts.

Big Sur is the place where hollywood movies are set whenever they want a coastal scene. It is one of the most beautiful places i have ever been. There are camping spots and quaint restaurants all along the coast. And some of the greatest beaches you'll ever see
