Samoa Cookhouse is where you will eat until you pop. I recommend not eating the bread. Cause once you start you can't stop. It is served family style and is family friendly. The cost is small and the portions are huge.

Eureka is very beautiful - it's not far from the shore and is in the most beautiful part of this country! There are many things to do, from hiking to admiring the nature! There are different activities such as the mall and theater, bowling and many other things! It is a town that is always on the go. There are many people who travel to Eureka because its the nearest large(er) town to shop at - so you can always interact with the locals!

Eureka has some really neat looking Victorian houses. It also has a lumberjack cookhouse, for an all you can eat lumberjack breakfast.

Eagle House Inn

We reached Eureka and decided to sleep here for the night and get out of the rain. We started driving through town, pricing hotels and finally settled on the Eagle House Inn. The Innkeeper was closing the facility for the next few months the following morning so we ended up having the entire place to ourselves. The Victorian hotel has been beautifully restored, and I would love to return to see what else they are planning to do to it. Empty, spare for us, the property did have a slight "Shining" feel to it that only added to the charm. Our room was spacious and beautifully appointed and the Victorian charm added to the experience of staying in Downtown Eureka. Another plus is the hotel's proximity to the downtown area, walking distance from many shops, bars and restaurants.

Unique Qualities: Beautifully restored Victorian Inn. Sitting room, with morning coffee and juice, ballroom and turn-of-the-century appointed guest rooms.

Prices: US$80-120
