If you're bummin your way through the states this is suprisingly a good place to visit. Get to venice beach and you'll find allot of strange people but also other travelers. If you go to the far northern or southern ends of the beach you can sleep there without being disturbed. There are locations throught venice where you can eat for free at least twice day, free showers in the morning under the santa monica pier (good spot to meet people already living there to find out about meals). You can stay there indefinitely without spending a dime. Oh and i think it's every saturday night, although it might be sunday there's a huge drum circle about 2 hours before sunset right on the beach.

Ah... the best weather in the world .... if you wanna know why you got to ask me... hehe - You could do anything in the world there...tell me some that you think that you cant do ... and ill prove you wrong

When in Rome... oh wait that should be When in L.A. ... If you plan on hitting the Hills, but you don't want to look like a poor S.O.B. buy something small, and walk around with the bag. See if they can put it in alarger bag and walk around with that. It sounds cheesy and stupid, but who wants to look like a tourist while walking around Beverly Hills? Hands not full, but with a little something will make you fit in a little more. Amazing Mexican food in LA... 2nd only to Mexico itself! Mexican / Latin fusion with Asian is AMAZING!!! Highly recommend trying it! Great street shows around Chinese theater. If you are lucky you may catch a B-Boy crew. Reminded me of NYC back in the day. Sex Museum is a waste of money. Nightlife is amazing, with a nice varied mix of it all. Not only are there Hip-Hop clubs a plenty, but there are also some of the best Rock, Latin, Goth, Techno, even country clubs in the LA area.

Dangereux et animés... Ville mexicaine à 300 %. Pas de blancs dans les rues sauf les touristes. Cool :-)

Park near Union Station and use the subway and metro, will save you time and gas

En zorg ervoor dat je niet tijdens de spits uren gaat rondrijden, want dan kom je gek van al dat verkeer!

Leuke winkels om te bezoeken en heerlijke stranden waar je zeker eens een kijkje moet gaan nemen!
En de Walk of Fame is zeker ook aan te raden om eens te gaan bekijken!

L.A is awesome! Love the food

My family has been here for 100 years now. I know it like the back of my hand. Avoid popular places such as Rodeo Dr., Hollywood Blvd, Sunset, and Santa Monica Blvd on Fridays through Sundays in the day time. If you are there during the day time on the weekends Instead of going to Rodeo try parking on Beverly and walk. If you want good food try Canters on Fairfax instead of Farmer's market, Music go to Amoeba's on Sunset, Cat in' Fiddle right by Amoeba's is a great place to eat outside. Its also where parts of Casablanca was filmed and were old hollywood royalty would meet up for drinks. LACMA is a far better museum to me then the Getty. It offers more. You dont always need to pay for parking. If you are by a residential area there's ussually 2 hr parking so if you dont plan on being somewhere longer find the free parking! We locals are pretty friendly and talkative. Dont be put off by the way we might look. Sometimes we Angelinas and Angelinos are put off by the over-touristy looking people. Best not to ask if we know any famous people. Chances are we do and we dont care. If you go on a tour bus you will be laughed at but sometimes thats just a part of being a tourist and anyone who travels will be one =)

Los Angeles is the first place I have been in the US. And I met my American grandparents there who are really kind to me! I will never forget this place although I do not like it very much! But the Disneyland and the Universal Studio are my favourite!!!
