    San Diego, California, United States
you can get coupons and the latest on attractions events and more travel information on www.sandiego.org . There's so much to do in SD from the beaches to the zoo to the museums to fine dining... but no trip would be complete without a stop at Balboa Park, or my favorite little neighborhood, Little Italy. some of my favorite restaurants are the Prado in Balboa Park, Felippe's Pizza Grotto in Little Italy, Zoccalo's in Old Town, Sammy's Woodfired Pizza, and soooo many more it's hard to list them all. San Diego is made up of so many unique neighborhoods each with a different style... you just have to come visit and see for yourself. It's also a fairly safe town, tourist friendly for the most part.

the hard rock hotel is super fun to stay in, but the bathroom area is really wierd in the rooms. anyone can see clearly into the shower and the toilet, because the walls and doors are glass. ask to get a room without this, it was difficult to live with. theres alot of beggars on the street, everywhere around there. and be sure to bring good shoes to the sandiego zoo, and GET A MAP OF THE ZOO. its THE most difficult pladce to navigate. coranado island is highly recommended, it is beautiful, alomost like you are in a different world. hmmm and "old town" is really cute, great shopping and great atmosphere, like a mexican market.

If you're going to San Diego, make sure you stay at the beach. There are plenty of motels offering a fair price in exchange for a good room with a view. If you surf, go surfing. But if you have some time left, go visit the Mexican border. Notice the helicopters flying over at night. See how America tries to safeguard its civilization.

My Grandmother worked at the San Diego Zoo when I was growing up- she introduced me to the city. I recommend visiting the Zoo, the La Brea Tar Pits and many local restaurants. Enjoy!
