napavally wine~ Good tip? (0) San Francisco, California, United States Look for a hotel on Lombard Street and than take the Cable Car to get around. Fall is a good season to travel to Frisco.... there won't be as much fog as in June for example. Good tip? (0) San Francisco, California, United States Shop around for hotels, there are loads of small, family run ones around the bay area and Union Square that are a lot cheaper than the bigger name ones. Good tip? (0) San Francisco, California, United States C'est une ville magnifique, je la conseille vraiment à tout le monde. Elle est vivante, et pleine de diversités Good tip? (0) San Francisco, California, United States Stay in the Green Tortoise Hostel in San Fran. Stayed for a few days in June 07 and seriously didn't want to leave. Met such great people, cheap, free internet, free dinners a few times a week, everyone enjoys themselves at night, within walking distance to everything and right beside China town and Little Italy. Be careful at night though as there are quite a few strip clubs around. I would definitely go back. Good tip? (0) San Francisco, California, United States I stayed at the San Remo Hotel several years ago. I received very good service and the accommodations were clean and simple. Always check their website for specials. The hotel is also located within walking distance of Fisherman's Wharf. Good tip? (0) San Francisco, California, United States THE city to go around for days and days.... So much to see and do, such nice people, great nightlife etc etc Good tip? WHY STAY HERE:
Modest, straight forward, conveniently located and priced, Hotel Bijou is a perfect place to set off from in your ventures around the city. And of course there's that clever movie theme. Each room, besides having a number, also has a San Francisco movie name, which hotel workers vehemently prefer. They provide the video to match the room name, so you know just how films like Bullit, The Maltese Falcon, or even Mrs. Doubtfire have immortalized San Francisco on screen. Inspired by San Francisco’s rich cinematic history, the hotel is adorned with classic movie palace designs and dramatic Hollywood portraits. PHOENIX HOTEL
WHY STAY HERE:
A celebrity favorite, this is San Francisco's rock 'n roll hotel. It's popular with the in-crowd not because it's a luxurious 5-star hotel with immaculate views and gargantuan suites, but because this place has attitude. Everything about it oozes with style, from the designer pool and cast-iron lawn sculptures in the inner courtyard, to the tattooed and pierced front desk attendants, always excited to beam about their hotel and the latest and greatest scenes around the city. Check the website for some great historical tales and a few more reasons why The Phoenix lives on in infamy.

www.jdvhotels.com/phoenix/ Good tip? (0) San Francisco, California, United States Sir Francis Drake Hotel is "historic" and that means old, as in the carpeting is old... the bathrooms are small, but the overall hotel is nice and can't beat the location. Probably overpriced. Good tip? (0) |
