Santa Catalina Island Travel Guide
Avalon, California, United States aahh.. then never ending adventures of the glass bottom boat, sounds of the local slot machines at the casino and the rolling hills with wild animals.... Avalon, California, United States great snorkeling, and glass bottom boat tours White Rock, California, United States Its a Rock that is so covered in bird crap it turned white.
No one actually goes on it. Santa Catalina Island, California, United States Conserve your water -- they're very particular about water conservation on the island
Avalon, California, United States If given the choice between the glass bottom boat and the semi-submersible, take the latter because the first has you looking down at the fish while the second allows you to look the fish eye to eye in a safe environment. Avalon, California, United States Avalon is a lot of fun. There are many activities to do their based around the tourism usually fed by cruise ships docking off the coast. I recommend the surface sumbarine or the zodiak jet sled. Two Harbors, California, United States Two Harbors, colloquially known as "The Isthmus", is a small unincorporated island village on Santa Catalina Island, California with a population of 298 (Census of 2000). It is the second center of population on the island, besides the city of Avalon. You will need to have your own boat or charter to get here. Camping is also available. Avalon is the main city and Two Harbors is a lot smaller and is a cool spot to visit. Avalon, California, United States bring alot of money because there are tons of cute shops. take a guided tour of catalina island, you might get to see buffaloes. take a ride through town in a golf cart. and eat at the seafood restaurant right on the water..yummy fish and chips. Santa Catalina Island, California, United States The island has an AMAZING....and i mean that in most litterall of ways, hike view called Insparation Point and the view is......incredible.
Avalon, California, United States Beautiful place to spend a day/ weekend. A bit pricey but worth it with the right person.
I highly recommend scuba diving off of one of the many points around the island.
Hamilton Cove is the place to stay if youve got the money
