Nice city, altitude is definatly noticeable.

Denver is the most beautiful city I have been to. It's a blend of city skyscrapers, yet the essence of nature is blended beautifully

Very beautiful and surprisingly hip. Go out to dinner in this city, you'll be pleasantly surprised.

Traveling Denver is made easy by the streets running East-West are numbers. After I-25 (going West) streets are in alpha order. Plus, RTD is safe, cheap and easy to use!

try to stay in downtown denver, the rest of the city is spawling industrial parks. the Adam's Mark in downtown is very nice, and relatively inexpensive for the quality. Downtown though is the heart of souless strip mall. La Boheme is a nice gentleman's club, if you're into that sort of thing. Rent a car, Boulder's a good time, weird and a bit crunchy granola. Winter Park's an hour and has decent skiing even early in the season.

What's there to see and do in Arvada?  Well...nothing really.  It's nothing more than a suburb for Denver.  So if you're coming to Denver, for whatever reason, you've really got no reason to visit Arvada.
