The Kennedy Space Center is close, but I'll provide a warning... When you go just expect the museum to suddenly cut off near the end of the "space race" era. It seems that when people stopped caring about space exploration that the funding for new exhibits also stopped. Other than that it was an interesting place to see and I do recommend it.

Eastern seaboard of Florida. Also known as Cape Kennedy the place were NASA launch the shuttles from. Great visitors centre here, takes a day to cover all of the tour which also includes a close up view of a launch pad. The IMAX film shows are awsome.

This is a great place for going to the beach!!! crystal clear water!!!! =)

Ron Jon and the Space Center are a must see. Also try to go during turtle season they are a site to see just don't bother them or go to jail.

Stay away from Ron Jon's surf shop and the flow of the masses and go south a few miles and enjoy florida's best beaches with privacy. Venture inland for mantatee's and dolphin sightings.

Great place to visit and learn about our countries space program. The shuttle launch experiance was fun but not as bad as you may be lead to believe from the hype before getting on. the only draw back was the food. with a place like this and the cost for food it could and should be greatly improved, over priced and not very good.

Interested in the history of the American Space Program, or you think it's just a waste of money, you just have to visit this place!

NASA- need anyone say more- a chance to see and experience space experinments and see up close the rockets- and if you time it right you can experience the awesome lift off of a space shuttle. Be prepared to spend cash at the visitor center with many educational toys posters and of course space ice cream- yummy.....

Very nice beach. Just go down directly from the I-95 to the beach and you will arrive directly to the public beach. 7$/day parking. Picnic tables very close to the beach with showers and restrooms. Some of the nicest sand ever seen.
