Clearwater is a very nice city, the beach is really nice and I LOVE the shops here :) I love coming back home every summer,especially when it's hot and I can go to the pool or get some tan.

OMG be prepared for turist trap and Scientologist hell!!!!! The beach is beautiful IFyou can find parking not costing a bundle and many shops and activities to keep teh family busy but then again is it worth the traffic, and crowds - you descide. And i lived there 30 years!!!!!!

Want to avoid renting a car, but still want to get around Clearwater beach? Try the Jolly Trolley ( http://www.psta.net/beachtrolley.htm )! The trolley covers a large area, taking you as far south as St. Petersburgh. Cost: $1.75/ride or $4.00 per day. PS They can also take bikes... so ride one way, and take the trolley back!
