Old Town Tampa is a pleasant stop. There is a farmer's market in the Old Town square on Fridays and Saturdays in the morning. Nice place to pick up local produce and crafts.

Tampa= Busch Gardens and nothing else. Don't go there.

Must visit: Busch Gardens, Adventure Island, The Port of Tampa, Downtown, University of South Florida, The Tampa Aquarium, Ice Palace, and International Plaza and Bay Street ;)

See a Tampa Bay Buccaneers game, the Dalí museum, and play golf.

Go to Channellside for dinner or a movie then get on the trolley and go to Ybor City for the Clubs/Bars.

You have to go to Ebor City, it has the best nightclubs I have ever been to.

Tampa on the Gulf coast of Central Florida is a great place to start your tour of the Gulf resorts. Travel north through the beach resorts of St Petes and Clearwater to New Port Ritchie and Crystal Springs or south through Sarasota, Fort Myers, Naples and Marco Island to the Everglades. Staying in Tampa gives you the chance to visit Buch Gardens, a fantastic theme park with some of the best rides in the US. Carnival Cruises dock here for trips around the N Gulf and N Carabean.
