What can I say, I love Indianapolis. I took a day trip there during the Police/Fire games of 2001 and had a blast. I just walked the city and came across the memorial to the USS Indianapolis. It's in a great park along the Indy Canal Walk. If you get a chance to walk it you'll see the city from a different view. There are some great views of the downtown skyline from here or across the river at the White River State Park.

A great trip is the Canals walking trip in late June and July. Parking is abundant and the canals are great! You can rent a boat to paddle along or just enjoy a nice safe walk.

Really nice new city, the streets, parks and overall is nice and clean. The city is extremely small though...nice to just pass through.

Visit the Lockerbie district. The James Whitcomb Riley home and museum is there. Also, if you can find it in the south part of town (a little seedy), try Duckpin Bowling.

Swim laps in the pool where the Olympic Trials take place! View the names painted on the wall.

Went to see Indy 500 in Speedway

Fly south for the winter.

IT IS REALLY BIG AND AT FIRST IT IS KIND OF HARD TO FIND UR WAY BUT WHEN YOU GET USE TO IT, ITS REALLY EASY AND THERE ARE REALLY NICE PEOPLE THERE AND THERE ARE SOME GOOD RESTAURANTS WITH NICE PEOPLE AND THEY HAVE SOME ACTIVITIES AND ALL YOU NEED TO BRING IS YOURSELF CAUSE THERE STUFF IS CHEAP AND SOME HIGH STUFF BUT NOT TO MUCH SO VISIT THERE!!!

Stay at the Conrad Hotel Downtown n shop at the circle center mall.

I went to the Indy Speedway for the first time for the Brickyard 400 with my boyfriend Daniel and had a fantastic time. How weird is it that you tent camp in the middle of the city?
