New Orleans is a different city from the rest of the USA. The French Quarters is a nice place to roam around and at night prepare to be surprised - totally out of this world (when compared with the rest of the US). Try out the food too - very tasty!

whenever there are local events in the town, make sure you go and have a great time.  this city is very diverse and makes for a great vacation spot if you feel like lounging around and listening to blues or jazz music in the park.

Mardi Gras is all I have to say! Anyone thats been has at least one crazy story to tell, and anyone who hasn't been wants to go!

Andrew Yager's House of Seafood @ The French Qtr is scrumptious, I have go to back to try another restaurant I was told about.

Pay a visit to preservation hall, off Bourbonn street in the french quarter. Old jazz bar with the best live music. Also in the neighborhood, got to Pat O'Brien's for one of their world famous Hurricanes cocktails, have it in the courtyard, al fresco. Finaly, the jazz festival (last week-end of April first week-end of May), is worth the trip. Awesome live music, and a different theme every year. Geaux Saints!
