Go to Cafe Una -- Best Martini's in Portland. The Stargazer is AMAZING!

Great little city. You can walk just about anywhere in 15 min or less. Lots of good restaurants, (there are 2 Maragaritas) and a great bar called Taps, which has 200+ beers on tap. Everyone is very friendly.

For years we loved going to Gilbert's Chowder House on Commercial STreet. There's plenty of places to park down there and the chowder was award-winning. The last couple of times we've gone, however, the place was really looking run down. the chowder was still tasty, but they need to do some sprucing up. The chair covers were ripped and the place just seemed dirty. We won't go back unless we find out it's been renovated.

Get some good lobster and go to the beach if you don't mind the 40 degree water

South east of England.. has nice weather in the summer. Very pretty, coastal town. Worth a visit if you head to the UK
