There's no reason to go to Malden unless you're visiting family.

If you like shopping, there's one place you really have to go: Take the T-Line til Lechmere station (the last station). Then turn left and walk through the little tunnel (unter the street) and then straight forward. Then turn left again, there's a lake and there you see the big shopping mall!! The entrance is across the lake, just walk until you're there :) There are many shops in there and also many food stores. You can buy hot food and it it here. It's very very nice and you have to go!
