Plymouth, Massachusetts, United States There's a beach north of downtown Plymouth. You can't swim there because of pollution, but it's great for walking with a ton of shells. It marks our ancestors arrival to America. Do not be deceived though. If you are from the west coast like me than you may be looking forward to seeing a mass rock that comes out of the ocean. It was by far a lot smaller than I anticipated, but appreciated at the same time. In the area you can spend a little money to jump on the Mayflower replica. It's quite enjoyable to see how tight spaces were back when, and to hear the stories of exactly how many people packed onto the ship. Good tip? There was no sign of life and if you can wait another exit or two off of route 3, there is a gas station within seconds of exiting. Good tip? As you walk to streets you really begin to appreciate the struggle the pilgrims went through in coming to this country.
Some must see attraction: Plymouth Rock and the Mayflower. Coming in November helps you get a glimpse into what the pilgrims went through without the amenities of today. Good tip? When in Plymouth, go directly to the Plimoth Plantations. That is worth your time. Good tip?
