Without a car you really cannot get around Detroit, there are buses but no metro system.
Detroit downtown looks quite nice, but compared to other major cities in the USA it does fall short.
In the summer you basic needs are shorts and t-shirt. In the winter it is vital that you bring a hat, scarf, gloves and snow boots. Good tip?
