Drive over the bridge to Windsor, Canada to check out the Italian town. Great food.

If you visit you have to go to the Henry ford Museum, and The Greenfield Village.

This is a scary little town right outside of Detroit- if anything I recommend you keep your windows rolled up, your music low and avoid eye contact with any other drivers until you're out of the area. I used to visit here a lot when I was younger and the place has only gotten worse in recent years.

just dont go there.....

besides the crappy things and the red wings, check out downtown, yea u mite get lost on the way home but u'll come across some beautiful architecture

There is a lot to do in Detroit during the summer months. Lots of cultural festivals along with arts and crafts events. Without a car you really cannot get around Detroit, there are buses but no metro system. Detroit downtown looks quite nice, but compared to other major cities in the USA it does fall short. In the summer you basic needs are shorts and t-shirt. In the winter it is vital that you bring a hat, scarf, gloves and snow boots.

dont goto detroit alone especially at night and if u do bring some friends with ya

This is a great city with a bad reputation. Tons of history and new fun and exciting things.

Comerica park or Ford Field. lots of awesome small town mexican restuarants if you know where to look....not the safest town in america

try the drive up starbucks, perfect for cold days!
