beautiful town close to nature.. if you go downtown you can find the capitol building of michigan.. otherwise a dull place with not a lot of night life.. go there to learn history or to be in the green nature..

All I can say is the best bar in town is Crunchy's you gotta go there when there is kareoke. like any bar in EL you need to arrive early or you'll be in line the whole night.

My uncle lives in lansing and is ready to move because too much snow!

East Lansing was my home for over a year. Vibrant college town. A nice place for those who like small towns. Dominated by America`s largest university in area; Michigan State. Catch a football or basketball game there, or maybe a jazz concert. Check out the Planetarium on a clear evening. Plenty of college chix ...

East Lansing has a tiny downtown with lots of restaurants, and bookstores. A few clubs, cinemas, and golf courses. There`s a po-po station for those who fiddle with their taxes and beat their wives. Several hotels, department stores around. Lotsa trees in this town too.

Served by Greyhound bus lines, and an Amtrak train station. Highways I-96 and 127 are a few minutes away. Lansing airport is 20 minutes away. East Lansing is in the Greater Lansing area. So if there isn`t much to do, Lansing offers much more.

Holt is amazing beautiful, especially covered in a small bit of snow. It's use of older buildings in modern day gives it an old kind of beauty. The food is generall cheap and easy to find, plus it's not far from Lansing, where there's a ton to do.
