An idyllic university town with one of the best art fairs in the United States. Go for the Art Fair and be pleased.

Catch a show at the blind pig, usually has the best music acts in town...smaller scene than the state, which gets mainstream acts at ticketmaster prices!

Ann Arbor is extremely safe. Don't leave your car unlocked, but you don't have to be worried about walking alone downtown at night.

La Loma, Mexican food at it's very best! Cheap.

There are some cool attractions around the university of Michigan campus that you should see, but my favorite place to go in Ann Arbor is a little vegan restaurant called Seva- it's off of Liberty, directly behind the library. Order their Grilled Pesto Pizza Sandwich with a side of yam fries and either an iced chair latte or an orange creamsicle to drink- you will be in heaven!!
