Minneapolis is really cold during the winter! Be sure to wear warm socks, ice-worthy shoes, a down-filled coat, a warm hat, toasty gloves, no lipstick, and don't open your mouth while you're outside or your tongue will freeze!! Oh yeah, wear some heavy duty chapstick. Don't wear lipstick or your scarf will stick to your lips! The people there are great, though, and the food is awesome if you know some amish friends. The houses are beautiful, especially when people have their Christmas lights up.

blondie's is the best hang out spot

Only real reason to visit is for mall of america, its a huge mall the biggest in america but other than that the city pales in comparason to chicago.

Visit the Mall of America, it's massive and you could totally get lost there...Fav shop/restaurant was Bubba Gump's Shrimp Restaurant.

all i have to say is go to the aquarium in the mall of america... well worth the visit!!!

This place is huge! But an easy to find and good place to eat would be I.H.O.P. its awesome, get the hot wings!! And they have great pancakes too!

I was there and crossing the bridge just a week before it crashed

The place I have driven most on snow covered roads. You can cover the entire city centre without seeing daylight - well connected by the skyway. spoon bridge is a must see

There was nothing else aside from MOA and a really bad basketball game!
