The Hudson Hotel is well designed hotel. Right on Central Park. Fantastic bar and the rooms although small are very comfortable.

Good way to get here is the Chinatown buses or Vammosebus.com or Boltbus.com. They're very cheap.

Great City! Trip to Ellis Island is a must if you're interested in history. You can no longer go up the Statue of Liberty so you're best give it a skip! For a bit of fun take the Shark boat out around the harbour. It's a speed boat and you're guaranteed to get wet , if not soaked!! Great view of Statue of Liberty, Brooklyn Bridge and NYC skyline.

A burger in Madison Square Park is a must. It is VERY popular so expect queues!!

The 2-day pass includes open top tour bus Circle Line, entry into loads of sights for $125 is worth it. Go to Ellis Island if you have ever had family go through it - very sad but interesting
