Funny story, I went there on business with two co-workers (heading to Philly) and we got lost there in the middle of the night searching for our hotel, which was in Cherry Hill, and ended up driving around for 3 hours, crossing back and forth from Philly to N.J. Tip: Make sure your arrival time is during day light hours.

It is a very expensive city.

Went to Liberty Bell... The mall was HUGE... Everyone was laidback in the area I was in... Nice city... very open...

How could I forget to mention the traffic here, at least in the downtown area. Take the subway, do not drive here, the roads are narrow and congested, easier to just take public transportation.

when in philly, be sure to stop at a white castle and arm yourself...

Philadelphia is a fabulous city, great history, phenomenal restaurants and great nightlife. If you stay near Rittenhouse Square (I personally like Sofitel Hotel)you will find everything you could possibly hope for within walking distance. Great shopping, historical sites and restaurants. Easy taxi ride to Museum District, Society Hill and 6th Street nightlife.

Dont miss beef burger here. you can find it along the road.
