Got to check out some of the local art where my brother works at an art college. Alot of history to be seen in this town.

You have to check out south street - there is no place like it in the world!!! It is philadelphia's little artsy world where you never know who you will meet! I will never forget the day a 60 yr old man with a 8 inch blue mohawk handed me a bible pamphlet and asked me if i have been saved!

Philadelphia is a fabulous city, great history, phenomenal restaurants and great nightlife. If you stay near Rittenhouse Square (I personally like Sofitel Hotel)you will find everything you could possibly hope for within walking distance. Great shopping, historical sites and restaurants. Easy taxi ride to Museum District, Society Hill and 6th Street nightlife.

Check out The Bank, and get a Phily Cheesesteak.

Philadelphia cheese steak....need more....South street, Stadiums, almost every band plays there.......great atmosphere and many oppertunities such as School of art and Penn State.

Philly is the best city I know. It has everything!: history, culture, good people, strange people, art, music, nightlife, etc. etc. etc...
Go to Northern Liberties for a good night out, maybe Rittenhouse to get ritzy, if you like to challenge yourself then try South Philly any time--day or night, you can get swanky out in the western parks or Manayunk, get some fantastic meals in Fairmount (especially at Tavern On the Green, Green st.) and if you really want to relax you can always hang out on the water or in Fairmount park.

Philly has the best music scene that actually cares about who's listening, including the home of the United States' best underground electronic scene, and some of the hippest watering holes this side of Brooklyn. Don't worry, though, you won't burn holes in your wallet for a few cold ones.
