The 6th Floor Museum is where you can try to figure out the mystery surrounding the assassination of JFK. Compelling stuff.

We went to the Fortworth Stockyards on a very hot, texas day in August. It was a lot of fun to shop around in the shop and see the cowboys riding around on their horses. There was an interesting little museum their with lots of artifacts from the settlers and cowboys that were in that area over the last couple hundred years. It is worth the trip just to browse around and enjoy that friendly, texas flavor.

Go during the late spring or early fall. The summers are way too hot. Catch a Texas Rangers game, go to Six Flags, Wet 'n Wild, Texas School Book Depository ( site of JFK assassination), more stuff to do than you can imagine. Good shopping, great food, fun upbeat city with plenty of great looking people.

When you are in Dallas you'll never leave hungry! Dallas and especially the suburbian towns have like the highest density of good places to eat EVER! Go check it out...make sure you visit the place where John F. Kennedy was shot in Downtown Dallas and also don't forget about Uptown...
