Check out the underground system of tunnels. If you don't see many people walking around the downtown area it's because they are all underground.

A big city like chicago with very very confusing highways. The city seems to never cook as there are tons of restraunts all over the place and very little supermarkets. The housing market is extremely cheap and seems like the city didn't have much suburbs.

Leave plenty of time  to  get around  if  you're driving  and  plan  to be traveling  during  peak hours (7-9am,  12-1pm, or 4-6pm). Outrageously  hot in the  summer,  but a pretty  dry heat and the other  seasons  are  actually  quite lovely.

Passed through on my way to mexico. Guy had a gun on his hip in the petrol station. Was a scary moment for me. Was with a group of Americans they though it funny i was worried!
