Downtown Houston pretty much shuts down at 6:00pm, by 8:00 it is almost impossible to find a restaurant open.

Be Careful in Heavy traffic.

1. Don't go when it rains a lot. You'll drown
2. Don't go in the summer. It's very humid
3. When you do go, visit the Village. Beautifully thought out communities built with the community in mind.
4. Visit the lakes. They are kept up quite nice down there. Not down town, but just outside, mainly south. Gorgeous!

When I first traveled through Houston, first place I visited was a park called Six Flags. I thoroughly enjoyed the rides with almost no waiting between each, however at the time of the 20 or so rides, several were out of commission, bummer. I would rate it average for that, but don't fret, that's only half the park. The other half is actually a waterpark, if it weren't for not taking along some towels/swim trunks, I would've taken to that side after the first!
