Stay at the Anton Boxrud BB. Jane is a delightful hostess and she cooks a "mean" breakfast that will stick to your ribs to fuel you for a long day of walking around the city. The BB is centrally located so you can stop by for a short lie-down if you want to take a break from sightseeing.

If you are ever traveling through SLC and cant find a hotel, try calling around to Sandy or Orem, both are close, and just outside the city. The hotels will be less busy and cheaper!

For skiiers, stay in Salt Lake City and drive to the resorts. This allows you to get cheaper lodging, many restaurants and you are no more than 30-40 minutes from all of the big mountains.

Very nice hotels especially near the big outlet mall.
