Great beach town. Museums to see. Great for family or romantic getaways.

If going by yourselves be aware of the very bad signing!!!

Luray is a small town, but there is plenty to do in the area. The caverns are worth a visit and one of the (few) entrances to Skyline drive is nearby. Be aware that speeds can be very slow on Skyline drive and exits are few and far between. Well worth it if you catch a glimpse of a brown bear, which we did on our visit.

sometime it is too windy. Parking is very tough during the summer. If you do not mind, you could park further down after 60th street.

Dahlgren is pretty much a Navy Base. There is a golf course and cooling pond near where I lived. There are great views of the Potomac. Just be aware of the gun testing - they can be pretty loud.
