the best was to travel in seattle is to rid the bus. the bus system connects easily with all neighboring cities and counties.

and, hey, if you're just staying in the city, why not rent a bike. seattle has a plethora of bike trails, and bike safe roadways.

You can't go to Seattle without going to Pike's Place Market... especially if you're there in the summer.  Make sure you buy some Rainier Cherries.  Down the waterfront (towards the ferry terminal from PPM) is a restaurant called The Grotto.  Pricey but excellent!

Bring your American dolllar! If you go Seattle on weekend, be prepared because they will not accept Canadian dollar or any money except American dollar. Although, they have ATM machine but it's less i saw.Transportation?hmm...you have to have car or they have metro rail. I had bad experience with locals. They were snobbish and rude but they have good people too =)
