Giftshop - There were a few items that were reasonable but most of the merchandise was way overpriced. Example one of their coffee cups was $15.00 so I can imagine the food would be expensive too. So I would bring some sort of snack or drink to utilize before hand or after you leave the Space Needle.
There was really not a long waiting time even in the middle of the summer. The observation deck was sometimes crowded but you still could get great shots of the city. Good tip? (0) Seattle, Washington, United States If you ever make it up to Seattle I would recommend going to the Experience Music Project, also known as the EMP. Its like a museum for the history of different styles of music. Also, connected to the EMP is a science fiction museum. They have everything from Captain Kirks chair to life size storm troopers and the model spaceship from the old show "Lost in Space." The building its self was designed by the famous architect Frank Gehry. Good tip?
