    Florida Keys, Florida, United States
Start in Miami. Rent a car. Drive all the way down to Key West. Bring gear for snorkeling or diving. Rental is expensive. Make sure to stop at the 77 mile marker. Can't miss it. When you get into Key West, don't stay at the corporate hotels. They are the most expensive and are the farthest away from everything you want to see or be. Stay at a bed and breakfast. You can get really good deals in the off season. The Mermaid and the Alligator is my favorite place plus you can walk or pedi cab it to anywhere you want to go. Check out the Butterfly Gallery and Ernest Hemingway's place and there is an awesome crepe house (can't remember the name). The Chunky Monkey Crepe is AMAZING!

    Fort Lauderdale, Florida, United States
If you plan on going to Ft. Lauderdale keep in mind that the city flows into its neighbors because it has outskirts. The food and restraunts include regular fast food, and olive garden, and a few chinese, spanish, and mexican restraunts. It is a generally nice city and everyone is usually very hospitable in my experience. As for transportation, you have the Ft. Lauderdale airport nearby, buses, and a train station in Deerfield which is only 6 or 7 miles away. If you are coming from up north than keep in mind that you NEED SUNSCREEN even fifteen minuets can burn you. You guys forget it soooooooooo often that we have occasionally made jokes like "how do you tell who is a tourist and who isn't- Ones that came today are pale, and ones that came yesterday are as red as a lobster, so everyone who is tanned is a native south floridian. Best hotels are in Ft. Lauderdale which is only 10 miles away but there are some hamptons and things like that. Beaches are very crowded so get there early!

When lost, look for a big tower. That is the tower of America. It is right in the middle of downtown.

    Coral Springs, Florida, United States
If you plan on going to Coral Springs keep in mind that the city flows into its neighbors because it is an outskirt of Ft. Lauderdale. It is close to some interesting cities that DO have activities and theme parks such as Miami and Ft. Lauderdale but it doesn't have much of its own. Coral Springs is considered to be one of the more wealthy cities in Broward County because of some of the housing developments that are located there. The food and restraunts include regular fast food, and olive garden, and a few chinese, spanish, and mexican restraunts. Best hotels are in Ft. Lauderdale which is only 10 miles away but there are some hamptons and things like that. By the way, there are some good matial arts and music teaching bussinesses for kids in the area. Get to the beach early cause it gets crowded. Coral Springs doesn't have much of a nightlife because of how small it is. You want to go to Ft. Lauderdale for that. There are like 20 different banks every square mile so you don't have to worry about atms. And yes, ladies, there ARE spas but again Ft. Lauderdale has most of the stuff around.

Stay north of the city in one of the less expensive places and take one of the ferries into town. There are parking lots at the ferry terminals and your ferry fare also includes two public transportation vouchers that if used wisely and combined with some walking, can last you all day.
