Hoi An is a beautiful city in Vietnam, just south of Da Nang. The Old Town of Hoi An is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

A very nice city, the nicest of Vietnam. And the typical food of Hoi An the CAO LAU...and WHITE ROSES. Good place to see!

Fantastic city... if you like to shop... found some really good jewelleries and pottery / art stores. it is more westernised than Saigon / Ho Chi Minh City.. but i liked both

This is where to come if you want a whole new wardrobe custom made and super cheap (around $8 per piece, give or take) We stayed in a place with a pool a short walk out of town, very nice room with satelite tv, ensuite, nice view for $6 per night for the room not per person! The hop on hop off bus dropped us off there. It was very nice, but may also have been nice to stay a little closer to town.

If you dont keep firm and bargan, you'll end up penniless! Hoi An people are hard core about ripping tourists off!

One of the nicest little jewels of Vietnam. Colourful and lots of tourists. You can get very good clothes deals here. Just ask the locals, they've all got friends who want to make a buck. The further you go outside the centre town for clothes, the better the deal. I brought back a whole new wardrobe.

If you go to Hoi An, be shure to have some free space in your backpack, and some favorite clothes you want copied. Tailors are abundant, and very good and cheap. They´ll make anything you want them to in a day or so, just be very clear on what you want! (bring pictures, or an example!)
