from saigon, take a 1 hour and 45 min. hydrofoil ferry ride to vung tau. when there ask the people with motorbikes to bring you to the beach( i stayed in bimexco, pretty good and cheap)...the beach has great potential! you can also go to the jesus christ statue though a very long flight of stairs await...the view is amazing though. for food, don't let the fresh seafood of the coastal area go to waste by ordering beef, chicken or pork! bamboo restaurant is a great restaurant! great location as well!

Avoid playing pool with the bar girls, they are sharks and play for bets
