I was in London only for a quick lay-over, but London just feels right. Clean. Modern. Classic. Progressive.

By far, the best Gothic cathedral in the whole of Europe.

This has to be the largest flea market I've ever seen- such a jumble of humanity and deals. It blows my mind. It's chaotic and wonderful at the same time. Even when you are packed into a space like sardines, the Thais make it fun. Here, you can get the deal of a lifetime, then get it stolen before you get out of the market. It's all a part of the experience.

This park embodies, for me, all that is right about Portland. You know that a city that sets so much land aside for nature has its priorities in line. Portland is a wonderful place to call home because of things like Washington Park.

This is the United States' great cathedral. It is truly is a wonder, having been built with as much ambition as any in Europe. No matter what you believe religiously, it is a special place where one can contemplate the bigger questions.

I still find it hard to believe that such a wonderful aquarium is in the southeast corner of Tennessee. Truly, a wonderful day trip for those of us within range.
