From Calton hill you get a great view of the city ...the busy princess street and the peaceful Arthur's seat. One of the best time to go on Calton Hill would be at sunset and to assit at the Beltane festival... a fire festival usually happening at the end of april. There will be a beautiful fire show, people looking like they are just out from a JRR Tolkien book and definitaley not enough toilets for alll this crowd. Still well fun.
