we stayed here last june and we had a wondefull experience.the metro is just 10 feet from the main entrance.our room was on the 16th floor with a unique view.breakfast was extraordinary.I can not stop but to recomend this hotel

Here begins the history.Take a self tour after seeing the 3d movie.the tour will take you from 3000 years ago onwards.Kings,fortifications the Palace and Warren's shaft are only a small part of this time travel.Finish your tour by taking the undeground tunnel from Shiloh pool till the Davidson park inside the old city.

Temple Mount is Mount Moriah for the Jewish people and is situated inside the walls of the old city.King David's son'King Solomon built here the First Temple.After that was built the Second Temple with the Wailing wall of today.Since the 8th century Temple Mount is known mainly for Al Aqsa mosque and Dome of the Rock

Get as close to the rich as you can .This is the main ideea to visit Monte Carlo.Then there is the casino and not only one.Before you enter have a look at the cars that park near by and you will discover cars seen only in reviews.
Once a year if you want,be there to watch the universe famous car race.If not,everybody can show you where is the official starting point of the race(good place for pictures!)Finaly have a taste of the marina and the yachts.

I visited the place when it was named Ophira.Not to much develeped those times.Today a lot of new hotels and good service.I stil consider the place a bit dangerous.Travel in groups and don't leave alone.

Sitting in the very bar where Hemingway used to sip his famous Daiquiri-what a better feeling can I enjoy?
No tourist will allow not to come here.Always full ,the atmosphere is great.Old pictures of Hamingway with Castro in better days hung on the wall and an imposing statue of H. in the corner.

visited twice.very expensive the entrance fee but the history related to the place is worth every penny.go see the crown with the big diamond, listen to the story of the crows and visit the open exibitions related to the famous English history.

lets call it the Drumm tower.every hour they hit the drums at precise time and we arrived that very moment.we ran upstairs like crazy people to see the drummers and how they hit the drums.it is unique as the building itself.

after Gaudi contributed so much to Barcelona i wonder what he left out for the next generations:it is the Ramblas!
if you begin your walk from the center to the sea side or the other direction you are still continuously amazed of the opportunities this street has to offer you.

i visited the cathedral in 1978 for the first time.they had half of it closed because renovations.I visited the cathedral in 2008 and still a big part was closed because construction.they said Gaudi was such a genius that they will never finish the construction the way the artist imagined it.Fantastic architecture!

It is one of the main monuments in Paris and no visitor will leave Paris without being here.It is situated in the Place d'Etoile.It was inaugurated in 1836 to comemorate the victims of the French revolution.It is 50 meters high.
Under this monument you will find the Tomb of the Unknown soldier.
At this arch is the other end of the world famous Champs d'ellysees so there is no way you will miss the arch.

Situated on the mountain it has a wanderfull view to the Kinereth lake.
Very good breakfast and dinner.In the summer there is asmall sweeming pool to relax.In the lobby there is literature about North Israel including free maps for designated trips.I enjoy it each time I am there.The staff is one of the best in the whole Prima hotels chain.

Just looking for this place is already worth the effort.Check opening hours.The house itself has an entrance and two floors to visit.You can almost feel the atmosphere of the original house.Imagine Mozart writing and playing the piano.When you finish a nice and big souvenir shop is open for you.

Nobody gets to Rome without visiting this most romantic spot.When I visited it first time I was not in love so romantic wasn't the issue.But in time more and more I wished to return there.It's a piece of art you don't have to be artist to be able to valuate it.

Waited to buy the ticket for about 20 minutes.You can go up at fix hours only.Waited more then one hour.The restaurant is full only prearanged reservations and very expensive.Not worth.But once on the terace you can see most of the city and I am glad I waited so long to get up.

Well,somebody decided it is a unique statue and so it is.First time I was looking for it with a guide book in my hand I almost missed it.It so small!You have to be careful when turning the corner.Have a good map with you or follow the tourists.

If you are not familiar you may confuse it with Washington.

It houses also the diamond which marks the "zero" km point where from all distances in Cuba are measured.
Fantastic building.

For the new tourist this building looks like the Parliament of London.It might be a bit confusing becouse most pictures are taken from across the river.The Hungarian building is worht too a visit.You have to stay in line a lot and better if you go with a guided tour.Plenty to see also around the building because the Hungarian revolution in 1956 is well marked there.

I heard that originaly Dali did not want guided tours at the museum saying that visitors should understand what they see.I realy can not say too much about this extraordinary place.I left speachless and till today I still think about this genial person.

Not many monuments can impres me as this one did.In front of the monument there is a huge statue of Marti.Inside there is a small museum kind of displays and then you get to the elevator.A service man/woman takes the visitors to the last floor and from there on follow your feelings.An excellent panoramic view of Habana opens before you and it makes it hard to decide what to photograph.I can call it a unique experience and even now when I write I feel the excitment and the power of the visit.

We arrived as a group so they have a special desk for check in.The room was on the 10th floor in the West wing(new wing)The room arranged for four guests was given to two only so we enjoyed two separate huge beds.The hotel is situated in the very vecinity of two metro stations and walking distance to the Oxford street.Excellent breakfast.Service was good .Hotel is booked mostly by conference events.It takes about 40 min. to Heathrow airport.There was coffee/tea maker in the room refreshed daily.Safe in the room.My problem was with the poor amenities:one shampoo for two one shower gel for two.no shower cap or slipers.Otherwise exccelent hotel.

Being in Malta in itself is interesting.As in any other country you are eager to visit also the most well known market.And this local market was quite good.A lot of local souvenirs combined with fruits and vegetables and clothes.It is situated in a historical place so it is not boring at all.Be aware:it is full with tourists as well as locals.

One of the must see places in London.But try to be different:have a look at the BB from a cruze on the river and not only from the park.And finaly let me tell you a joke: " A blonde was quite disapointed when she found out that Big Ben was only a clock..."

What can I, a poor mortal add to this famous place?The whole history goes round the Wall.Think about other walls as well: the Chinese wall ,the Berlin wall and finaly THE WALL by PINK FLOYD !!

The word Extraordinary is not even getting close to describe the chanel.You can find technical data everywhere but only if you take a cruze can you understand what it is about.We took such a cruze ,a one day cruze.We left Panama docks at about 10 am after we got clearance from the bridge.We passed under the Americanas bridge and passed through two pairs of locks.On the ship we received a continuous update about where we were and history of the places we went by.Fantastic !

Kremlin.The main reason of giving only 4 stars is that it is very very expensive to visit the compound.Tourists on a budget cannot afford it.There are a lot of sights to visit inside this triangle which is closed by high walls .You have to deposit bags before entering which is anoying in itself.Think that actualy you wait twice to get in:once when buying the ticket ond once for depositing the luggage.Once inside you forget about everything and you begin to wonder about the construction the museums and al that history that rewinds before your eyes.Dont forget the Armoury and once inside dont miss the Diamond Fund.Tours are also available .

Like in any other cities with metro we also used the Moskow metro system.It worked excelent no complain at all.Quite cheap,friendly user.But the main attraction is the inner architecture of the metro stations.Theu are indeed unique monuments of art so decided to be by the then communist system in order to show the world of what they are capable.When it comes to the metro,they succeded.We visited a lot of stations for the sole purpose of seeing them.Dont let yourself just go by.Stop to admire them.The feeling is that you visit an underground museum.A whole period of Russian history winds before your eyes.If you have no ideea about Russian history is enough if read a bit only to understand what you see.I can recomand the following stations but many more are to be visited:Ploshchad,Chekhovskaya,Park Culturi,Smolenskaya,Mayakovskaya.

We visited Berlin in December one week before the New Year.Minus 4 degrees during the day but the weather was excellent.This gave us the opportunity to walk as much as possible and so we arrived also at the famous Charlie check point.I heard so many stories and lets not forget the tens of movies where this check point is filmed.So a lot of history is going before your eyes when suddenly you are in front of the history!We took pictures with the soldiers(it costs a couple of euros or maybe five) I received five border stamps used in the sixties and you can buy endless souveniers.The place itself and the museum are worth the trip itself.

What more can be said about the Old city in Jerusalem?
A mixture of everithing:modern and old ,Jewish muslem and christian.Its much more than any other old city in the Middle East or elsewhere.Its a place for people to live and for others to visit.Take a "roof" tour of the old city or a long walk on its ancient walls.

It is still one of the most recognezed places in the world with a specific charm that makes you wonder when will come the time to be there once more.I do remember well the place also because a totaly different reason:in 1988 siping a cola in one of the front caffes was so expensive thet it upset out daily budget!

It is situated about 80 km from UB and on the way you can visit the newly constructed mega-statue and complex of Chingis khan.If you have time do some rock climbing but first make sure you saw the "Turtle Rock"

I give this gallery only four stars since the time they put that pyramide in the middle of the museum.Don't try to visit the whole museum.Go first to Mona Lisa and then to your special interest galleries.Concentrate in seeing less but better.

We had to visit this street twice in order to understand how fun it was.Nice leather shops and a lot of street vendors.A good atmosphere for tourists.

Everybody who knows just a bit about the new Testament shoul come and walk the streets where it is said that it happend.You will feel,like in no other place on Earth,that you are part of history.You might even touch stones which were touched now 2011 years ago.

Did you know that some of the rocks of the Wall on the inside tunnel are as big and haevy as the rocks of the Pyramide ?It makes me wander...

Althou I can not visit it any more I had the opportunity to visit it in the early 80's. It's fantastic and since I can see it from the Sherover Promenade in my neighborhood, it makes it even more beautifull.

One of the holliest places foe Jews to come and believe and pray.If a Bar Mitzva is hold here,then thousand of blessings will be with you.A must place for all tourists becouse the deep power of this place will bring only good things to you.It's an extraordinary experience for all of us.

Just be there.Everything else will happen...It's the famous place where you write a short whish note and put it in between the stones.Who knows? Who knows,you whish might get fullfilled.

What makes the park so interesting is maybe the history of how it was created.Long time ago a couple of entrepenors (Gaudi included)bought that terein in order to build for the rich outside the classic Barcelona.The got bankruped and could not even sell at low price.But in the last few decades the city developed and the park and the few villas are now the most expensive property in Barcelona.

Situated in Alexanderplatz but well seen from all the points in the center of the city.Including the antenas it is 368 meters high and so it is one of the tallest in Europe.It was built mainly to answer to the needs of former East Germany.The construction ended in 1969.The observation point is at 203 meters and above it there is a revolving restaurant,making two full turns per hour .From the time we got to the tower and to the time we finished the tour it took two hours! It was on a Saturday and on a beautiful sunny day on 18th of this December.It was not snowy weather but the visibility from 203 meters was foggy a bit .Still we did have a good view-not good at all for photos .We could not eat at the restaurant because only guests with prior reservations were let in.
All in all it was a pleasant experience.

We choose Ivbergs Premium.Well enough located and within reach to metro stations .The bus station is almost in front of the hotel.The rooms were big with enough space for hanging and toileteries.The pillow was also good.The breakfast was fantastic.

This hill is one of the highest in Paris .Well known for the cathedral of Sacre Coeur and the night life .I mostly enjoyed the artist quarters where I had taken the picture of my daughter in 1999.Recomended.

It is not as nice as in pictures over the tv.When I saw it for the first time I even did not realized that I am standing in front of the statue.On my second trip I bigen to like it and apreciate it.You can not miss it .

At the age of 22 I tok my first visit to this district.At that time no tours existed and the only one purpose was to knock on the window and get whwt you shoud get.Today it sems is different at least from the outside.

One of the best plazas in Madrid.In a good weather if you sit down for a coffe you won't want to get up again.Plenty of music and people on a continuos move make the plaza full of life at any time of day or even night.

The construction keeps on since I visited Barcelona in the late 70's.They say it is so monumental a design that never will be finished.Pay attention to the sculpures on the South entrance.Plenty to find out even before you enter the cathedral.

I am far by being a gambler but a visit to this place is a must.We paid a 10 euro entrance fee and pasports were needed.The building itself is a marvel both outside and inside.I am sure that the most secret places were out of reach for one like me who invested 10 euro.

Everybody visits places for diferent reasons.Football was not my reason.

Tourists have to understand not only the beauty of the arch but the huge importance of such a monument.You can find arches in Madrid and Bucarest and in many more capitals.Did you know that underneath its vault lies the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier from the first ww ? Yes,this is a place which needs more than looking at.

We did not stay in the hotel but used their bar.It was excellent and I sure that Tamas is correct.

Should be called st.Anne batery because the real princess Caroline battery is further up.This is one of great viewpoints from the road to the Siege tunnels.You can see from here the airport runway and the border with Spain.Cannons from WWll are still placed in their original position but not in use since 1980.Think about this point as only a smal step from the realk big thing:the tunnels with their fantastic history.

One of the biggest castles.Situated only about 60km from Paris this castle knew quite a few royalties:Louis xlv,Napoleon saying goodbye to his army in 1814.Visit the library,the gardens and the interior and you will be amazed for a long time.

Maybe a lot of people consider it as must to sit down here but after you do that you find out that the service is far from what you expected.We were a group of managers from Prima hotels in Israel an d all agreed that the service was nothing special.

You remember what they said about the tower in the 18 th century? And look what happend.I am just afraid about the crazy El caida group not to blow it up.So hurry and visit it as soon as posible !

I wanted to describe a hotel situated in the Old city because the location is excellent.We were invited to friends who stayed here and I have no full knowledge about it.What I know is that it offers views of the scenic Philosophers road and is near the river Neckar.What I realy liked was that the castle was only a 15 minutes walk.

Situated on the hill and in vecinity with Prima Galil hotel,this one is completly refurbished.About 80 rooms will offer a pleasant stay in Tiberias which is the main point for al trips in the North.A big lobby and dining room can accomodate about 150-160 guests.Israeli full breakfast based mainly on fresh vegetables.

Five minutes from the Dead Sea with private entrance .From the hotel you will be pleased to enjoy beautiful views of the surrounding streams, hills, desert, and lake.All amenities of a modern hotel can be found here.The breakfast is excellent.

J.Runeberg is a well known Finnish writer (his son is a sculptor) But he is not less well known for his pastries of which one bears his name.You must find a caffe where this tart is served and more other souvenirs conected to it.

the museum belongs to Runegerg jr.,the son of the well known Finnish writer J.Runeberg.Like in all museums you can admire works of the artist and his way of life.

Tennis and bowling? This was a surprise!All you need to be found in this hotel.The hotel can suggest day trips to Hungaria -only 60km from Arad.Breakfast is good and other restaurants will offer traditional food.

Hello-no TV in the room !!Although this city is my home-town and I love it,the hotel is not the best .Since the city has no big variety of hotels staying here will do it.I was told that originaly this place was a villa now converted into hotel.So Romanian !!

Well situated and close to historical places,that's for me the most important thing espacialy when you stay only for one night.The hotel has all needed facilities-bar internet and so on.

It is situated in the city center and free shutle will take you to the airport or beach.It is based on an "all included" food service.Big pool and special place for children.

Why is it called BOTEL?Because it is a boat-hotel,a boat transformed into a hotel.The rooms are a bit smaller but have a view over the fantastic Danube.The breakfast was very good and the location is on the left bank of the river just under the Bratislava castle and a walking distance to the old city.

Considered only a three star hotel it will offer you more than that:location.
easy reach of all the important archaeological sites , beautiful views from the veranda, overlooking the gulf.It is also close to the Archaeological Museum and the historic sites, as well as Parnassus Ski Centre and the nearby villages of Itea and Galaxidi.

The Greek history is fantastic and here you can meet some of it:the worship of Apollo site,the most important Oracle in Greek world and the theatre which is Unesco world heritage.

It has its own beach! in one of the best places in Malta.It has also indoor and outdoor pools.All rooms have balconies(we visited a friend)A/C and TV. Plenty of things to do,good place to bring children.No boring moments here!

The hotel is part of the Diego de almagro chain.It has a good restaurant and sauna and pool.
It is situated on the coast of the Magelan straits which in itself is quite interesting.

If you want to "be considered" you better have been at Z Plage.Less then snobs are not welcome but don't worry:you can drink a cola there.The place was known before that as Martinez Beach Club and today is tending to the most refined tastes of the rich tourist.

The museum as well the expedition itself are extraordinary.In just a short time you can discover so many new things about our Earth or the museum will remind you things you already forgot.
Take the Oslo pass if you are a good "student" and visit the next museum "Fram museum" After that or better the next day visit the "Amudsen museum " which is quite a history in the research of our planet.Student card comes handy because the high prices all over in Norway.

All of Malta is well known for its cute old buses.But instead of trying to see them one by one passing direction left,you can go to the bus terminal and heve a whole museum of them.Some have a back door,others are realy big and so on.I enjoyed watching them with their yellow color and not well tuned engines.Very noisy and poluant but its history on wheels.

I love bridges and this one too.Too pitty it had to be demolished and reconstructed in order to face the modern transport.Always look for the bridge with history !

At the time we got to the cathedral it was already closed.So all the goodies were told by our guide and a photo in front of it closed the session.But what I remember is that do try to get in because it is beautiful.

The island has actualy only two sand beaches and this is one of them.Situated in the North,it is good also for bodysurfing.Palms are all over the beach and a few small stands sell refreshings and souvenirs.But don't forget the sand and the beach.It won't happen twice !

First of all the hotel itself is not so important.You are visiting an extraordinary place with view on the Danube not to be forgoten.We only had a group breakfast at this hotel but I was was impresed .The hotel has only 10 rooms !!but is situated in a wanderfull invironment at the entrance to the Old Town.

Not cheap but excellent location near the Grande Palace and City Hall.Quite a variety of room cathegories.

We were in this hotel in 2005,next year of the Olimpic games in Greece.We booked it by the net and what was booked was received.Simple hotel with simple breakfast.We stayed just for one night.Quite centraly located-it might be a problem with the parking.

Well situated .5 minutes from the train station and walking distance from the palace.Free internet .A friend of mine said that the rooms are not so big and some maintenance problems should be fixed for good.

Considered only tree star hotel it deserves a bit more.Very good location and pleasant staff(I did not stay in the hotel but used its facilities)

I was fortunate enough to be on the bridge when they stoped traffic.It was done in order to permit a bigger ship to pass under it so the two moving parts of the bridge were risen and then lowered again.

I give five stars to everything connected to Malta.It is such a cute country and the capital is exceptional.I love even its name "Valleta".From the gardens which are easily accessed from the city you have a beautifull view of the port and if you are a bit of a "dreammer" kind,than this is the place to dream with open eyes.

One of the most important places to visit in Spain.After I went by all the corners and gardens and rooms,I went back and seated myself on a chair.I closed my eyes and tried to figure if I understand what I saw and tried to make sure that each image is well fixed in my memory.

Rampe Major is a 16th century red brick construction.It's aim was and is to provide a pedestrian link between the port and the palace.Check the opening hours and if you have a car check if possible to take it close to the palace.

Situated at short proximity to El Calafate South Argentina,the lake is also close to lake Argentino.It is a bird paradise.You can see flamingos, kelp geese, silver macas and many other species unknown to me.A good day walk will make your day happier .

For whatever reason the simple translation is "FLY BOATS" and they are a sepatate experience knowing Paris.What you can not see from the boulevards and the shore of the river you will see and appreciate from the boats.

One of the most well known places in Paris.Cross the large avenue and get closer to the obelisc (an original Egyptian one) and you can see the other end of the famous Champs Elysee.

Well situated in the center of the city in close distance from main points of interest.It has an outdoor pool and very good breakfast.

Beautiful resort on the beach and one hour fron Athens(not on rush hours!)Shuttle bus helps you get to most closes locations.Very good and plentifull breakfast.Mostly recomanded.

New hotel with brand new facilities located in of the best location in the center.Enjoy the buffet breakfast.Well conected to other parts of the city by excellent public transport.Free internet in the rooms.

Close to the bus terminal with a free pick up service.Breakfast is "house made".No pets allowed.Some of the rooms are small so no parties to be planed.

The only problem is that it is far from the city and you need a taxi.On the other hand it is close to the airport.It provides good breakfast,free parking and internet.Pets are not allowed.

First time I saw it it was renovated.Second time it was renovated third time finaly I could go inside without renovations above my head.Is enough to look at this marvel from outside but getting a close look from inside is different.

Well situated,modern breakfast,close to the water front.You will love it.

What is good about this hotel is that is located just across the train station.It has plenty of facilities and good breakfast

A rich continental breakfast which is quite unusual at such a hotel.Pets allowed.Internet in the public area.Well located not far from the central train station and well connected to the rest of the city.

The best location, in the heart of the business district and shopping area, offering a wonderful view on Lake Geneva and The Alps. Superb terrasse on the first floor. Restaurant 'Le Café de la Paix' and 'Jacky's Bar'. 5 minutes from the train station. Banqueting, conference and meeting rooms up to 300 people. Pets CHf. 19.-- per day.

Super delux we stayed for three nights and it was superb.Plenty of view to the mountains and the lagoon or to Aquaba.Try to get the hotel together with a flight deal from Tel Aviv to Eilat.

At 140 euro in 2004 the hotel is quite expensive.Nothing unusual about the breakfast or service.Well situated.

The church was destroyed in WW2 and rebuilt in 1950.What is interesting about it is the Christ figure emerging from Lapland scenary.The organ has more then 4000 whisls.Other statues and paintures commemorate the war the heroes and the fallen ones.

First it was build as a curiosity.After its success each year they build it again and again.It is huge:13000 sq meters and features an ice bar ice restaurant ice tables and sculptures.The highlight is the ice hotel where you can stay overnight.Take into account that you are breathing a -5 celsius cold air !

Does anybody think I can ad a review about this place?You have to stop doing anything and began to imagine yourself living there and running in the gardens and then having dinner or a dance lesson in one of the superb rooms.And yes,people,real people did all those things once.

Such a powerfull experience in history while visiting this place.When I was there they had an exhibition about Henry dinasty.Beautiful.

Best situated and not so expensive compared to the very high costs in Norway.Pets are not allowed and parking is at a cost.Fully renovated with a good breakfast.Internet is free.

I will consider this hotel as a 93 rooms four star hotel.With a unique view to the Galilee lake (Kinereth) from the top of a hill it is still close to the city.
Fully renovated ,it houses an always renewed art exibition and a beautifull bar.

Notre dame is such a name that you must go and visit it.Of course nobody visits Paris only for this superb cathedral but still-its a must-.Don't go home without visiting it.

I almost wondered why Mozart was not born there !It would be a perfect match.Beautiful place,find time to climb easily the hill where from you can see all around.When I visited it was a bit rainy and windy and not so pleasant on the hill but still,exccelent.

While walking to the North side of the city you will reach the what once was a castle.Only ruins are left to see today.On those ruins whice once housed a cellar and was blown up,it was build a restaurant.You can still visit and enter the cellar which was built in 1590.

The most I remember from this market is the statue of a fat little cute polisman statue at the entrance to the market.The market itself can provide anything from "made in china" objects to Finnish hand made products and souvenirs.

This museum specializes in architecture and such was Alvar Aalto.The building itself was designed by him in 1973.The architect was born in 1898 and died in 1976 in Helsinki.He is considered as the national architect of Finland.

The shopping center itself is beautifull.The problem begins when you want to buy something.Very expensive but on the other hand,so is most of the elegant Paris.You want cheap?Go to the flee market!

You almost may pass by this quarter without realising that it is here that Andorra began its history.You don't have to go too far to visit this place .Full of narrow streets, the houses are still there and built of stones.

I did not stay in Ronda but had two opportunities to pass by.In one of them we stoped and visited a bit of the city and the Puente Nuevo was at hand.Its translation meams "new bridge" but it is missleading:it was finished in 1793.

Almost all rooms have sea view which I consider more important than tv or laundry facilities.The internet and the parking are free!!

Like everywhere in Finland here too we found the famous water tower.On most of them you can climb for a small fee but always the scenary that opens in front of you makes it worth it.

Populated already in the 12th century,the city became officialy a city in 1600.It is known today as the sunniest city of Finland.From the former city only a few ruins are left but well preserved.In the center you can find the statue of Topelius who wrote books for children.

Nothing short of 5 stars.When I was there it was forbidden to go inside or to walk the stairs.what would happen if it was not tilting?Still famous?It shoud be because the architecture and whole surounding of the construction.

Ainola is the former home of composer Jean Sibelius(1865-1957).The house was finished in 1904.It was named after his wife,Aino who died in 1969.In 1972 the estate was sold to the Finnish government and a foundation was founded to take care of.

All I can say is that it is beautiful !!Nature at its most.

The most important things were very good:the staff,the breakfast and the view.

Centraly located and noisy I cannot say it is the best.Very simple
but good for one night.Lower the expectations.

We did not stay at this modern and expensive hotel but had a good afternoon at the casino which is situated inside.A huge lobby with oiano music and a bar is waiting for the guests.It was pleasant.

Modern hotel situated in my natal city .Maybe that's the reason I like it.

The Club Hotel Abbazia is located 100 metres from the centre of Keszthely and 500 metres from the beach at Lake Balaton. It features and outdoor pool in the garden and a sauna.

All apartments in the Club Hotel Abbazia have an en-suite bathroom, a kitchenette and a TV. The hotel consists of the main building and 7 annexes. Many apartments are located in traditional villas.

Mainly recomanded for the view from the rooms(not all of them) to the sea.The hotel is well equipied with all sort of modern accessories and a secured parking.

Most important amenities are found in the hotel.Breakfast is included and prices are ok.It is close to the beach and other main attraction in the city.

5 km from Marathon it is a sea side resort with enough facilities to make you comfartable.Buffet breakfast is served daily.

When crowded because of groups ,you will find it unpleasant.Most facilities ask for extra payments.But don't forget-you are in Cuba and service is not their best side.

What else can I -a simple mortal- add about this place ?

Near the beach this monument commemorates the german forces who liberated the city from the Russians.It was reerected in 1960.

Villas refers today to a whole residential area full of villas from the Russin times.Most of them have names of ladies like "Garbo" villa.This place was at the begining of the last century the prefered place for the rich aristocrates,noblesand artists.They built here their summer villas and today it is more than a tourist attraction.

Five stars not for the tower itself but for the view from it.

Although we had some cleaness problems with the room and had to talk to the night manager still the hotel is ok.Elegant rooms and good breakfast.Good location too.

This is Finland's most famous knife manufacture with a shop where you can buy cheaper knives then elsewhere.Just across the Arktikum museum.

It's a glass tunnel museum and one of the best in Finland.The main point is to present a history of the North including the Sami civilisation and fauna and flora.Much recomended it has also a restaurant to stop between exibits.

Simple hotel centraly located.

The world only tourist ice breaker.The trip is expensive but worth every cent(penny)It is open to visits also in the summer but the winter trip is the highlight.It breaks easily 1meter thick ice .The ships patrols the Bothnic seas.

Small hotel nothing in common to mention.Check out the Karaoke bar of the hotel.

Imposing building from the 19th century hold Finlands oldest portrait dating back to 1611.In 1777 they built a chirch here but was destroyed in a fire in 1822.

It is considered one of the liveliest markets in Finland.It is near the waterfront which makes it even more interesting.Some old wooden houses were converted in restaurants and bars and souvenir shops.But the reason we visited the market is the "Toripolliisi" ,a funny metal statue of the policeman.

Situated in Mamaia and close to Constanta is a very good hotel.40 rooms and a massage center.The hotel provides its own cuisine-local-of course.I consider the hotel as having high standards.Recomanded.

Not the best choice but still a place to sleep.Belongs to Isazul chaine and is located a bit far from the center.But who comes to these places will be intersted in nature and the locals and the rich history of Cuba.So get a good sleep and be ready for a beautiful next day.

Don't mistake Siracusa from Sicily with Siracusa named places around the globe.The dome is very nice and so is the piaza.History and art fans -sharpen your pencils and listen to the explanations of the guide.

I have to tell you the truth:I realy wanted to find and see this thing because I heard about it already when I was child but when I got so close to it,Ifelt like being afraid to put my hand inside.You,be brave and do it !

First time in March the weather did not permit to ride it but naxt May it was a best weather.Hundreads of people waiting in perfect order clean and well organised.No need to tell you about the view from above!

The only one thing we visited here was the Old town where there is a collection of 600 low wooden houses.The place won the attention of UNESCO and it was declared the wooden town preserved .

Maybe the rainy day lsft a stronger impression on me than the Old town for which we came here.But still,it is a nice place with old house most of them transformed in art shops and galleries.Check the Wanha naantali kauppa a shop with nostalgies.

It was a low rainy day when we arrived to this most popular family attraction in Finland :the theme park for the Muumies.Young and old are comming to visit and smile back at the happy figures along the well kept village on the island.A bridge links the shore to the island .

Turku is the oldest city in Finland and it was its first capital.The castle is huge and full of history.Founded in 1280 it was expanded continuously over the years.It has magnificent banquet halls and a museum.

The cute Moomin figures wew created by Jansonn and they became so popular that a museum was created.The museum is inside the public library building and contains all the figures with explanation in English.You can admire examples of original drawings and models.

Renovated red shop houses along a lane.Known as an arcade it is open till 5pm only between June and August.We arrived a bit late and the entrance to the lane was already closed and locked.

Dedicated to Victor,a local photographer it presents a studio a photo gallery and enough cameras to open a museum.Recomanded for photo lovers.

When most of Finland is plain as a paper,you can understand why the people of Kuopio are so proud:they have a 75 m high tower with a rotating restaurant(closed when I was there)with a spectacular view over the lake and forest.

Some of the buildings were made by the famous Finnish architect Alvar AAlto.But a stroll on the streets of this nice little village will give you a good taste about Finnish life.A little train makes a tour of the city center and then you can stop at any of the little coffee houses for a rest.

One of the most traveled sites in Finland in the summer.This place is a formation of 7 km long sand ridge covered with pine.A scenic route connects the North side with the South and the scenary is breathtaking.Good and prefered for walking and cycling.

There is plenty to do in the city but this castle is the highlight.It is the best preserved medieval castle in North Europe.The castle hosts a month long festival held in July.A few days before that you might be lucky to see and hear some rehearsing.It was founded in 1475 and named after a saint(Olof)Visiting the interiors is possible only with a tour which takes about 45 minutes.Some of the medieval halls might be rented for personal events(no catering included !)

Originaly opened in 1887 it was close to demolition in the 70's.Reborn as the best among best,this splendid hotel is the most luxorious one.The national composer Sibelius even dedicated a song .We did not stay at the hotel(very expensive)but we allowed to visit two halls with beautiful wall paintings and ornaments.

This historic island took part in major events when the Russians took over the island fron the Sweeds.It is also a world heritage site.Locals come mainy on weekends for parties and picknick on the grass.The island has even a youth hostel,a museum and cafes.The day will end pleasantly by just walking around.There is a spot mostly liked by artists who paint the beautiful nature in front of them.Check the ferries timetable to make the return .At the visitor center you will be provided with maps and explanations.An other interesting scenary is the docks where they still repair or buid ships.A visit to this island:mostly recomanded.

The main flea market of Helsinki.One of the dominant objects is the Russian product from caviar to the K riffel(of course not in shooting condition)

It is a red pub tram from the main train station.It sells beer and is very interesting.It also allows you to make a quick tour of the city.

You should see this church!!It was designed by Timo and Tuomo in 1969 and is one of the must attractions of the capital.It was buils in hard rock (quite unusual for such a rock to be found there).Its 24 meter diameter roof is covered by copper .Concerts are held regulary.The entrance to the church is from Fredrikinkatu.

This all chalk-white church is a Lutheran one.Was completed in 1852,12 years after the death of its designer-Engel.The stairs are a favourite meeting point for young couples.The church is situated in the Senate square. 

Situated on the Katajanokka island it is all red brick made.It is a Russian orthodox church built in 1868.The interior is full of icons.

It is one of the most important churches in Finland.Construction began in th late 1200's and more and more portions were added to it.Chapels were build and used later for burial of of local heroes from the past .Check if live music is still offered on Tuesdays.

Not to much to see in Pori,either in the hotel.Simple but you can enjoy the spa and the pool.

It was opened at a big ceremony in 1894.Hydraulic system raises and lowers the two flexible elements when ships pass under it.I had the opportunity to be on the bridge when it was closed for transport in order to let a ship pass.It was extraordinary to watch the huge gates geting up and after that back to normal.More then 300000 tourists visit the uper level(entrance fee )which houses exibitions .You can walk between the two towers on the walkway which connects them.
The view is of course wondeful and unique.

Th efamous Finnish musician is well remembered also here.There are Wednesday concerts or simply listen to CD's .The museum is also known for its huge number of musical instruments.

Chosen for its proximity to the railway station and Tivoli gardens,it has aircond.rooms and excelent breakfast.!!the breakfast room is situated on the sixth floor !!! with nice views.

The hotel took the place of a former apartment building so you will find some positive things about as built in kitchen and bathroom.Cheaper in the summer and not so expensive in the winter,it is a budget hotel.

We left the car just at the entrance to the steep street which takes you throu the forest to the castle.It is built on the top of the hill and it appears in most of the poscards or paintures.Most important is the chapel but also the inside yard with a possibility to walk on the walls.The view is excelent and from all directions you will get a different view.Sistematic rebuilding and conservation still goes on.

One of the best location ,othewise a moderate hotel with nice breakfast.Not far at all from Giulieta house (the main attraction from my point of view) the hotel has most modern facilities including parking.I don't mind if I have no TV but parking is essential for me.
