One of the best architectures of Pandyas. The temple has 12 Gopuras (tower) and has the biggest complex in South Indian temples. It had been short listed for the New 7 wonders of the world. Must visit in Madurai!

Casino was fabulous. The ambience and the layout of the casino was awesome. One of the highlights of the Venetian Macao is the replica of the Grand Canal in Venice, including a replica of St. Mark's Square and the Rialto Bridge. The replica was so real and we thought we visited Venice. It was mind blowing! The ground floor is for shopping and some high end stores like Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Versace etc.,

Tirumala hills is a pilgrimage centre for the Hindus. It comprises of seven hills and Lord Venkateswara temple is in the seventh hill(Venkadatri). The climate in Tirumala is always pleasant. The water tastes really good! One should go there during Brahmotsavam. You can see the Lord Venkateswara adorned with his precious diamond crown worth Rs 30 Crores. There are many darshans to see the Lord Venkateswara. One has to pre book the darshans else one has to wait for a day or two to view the God. Online booking can also be done. TTD have introduced  sheegra darshan (INR 300) for quick darshan. No advance booking for this darshan.  

Awesome place to spend a day. Highlights are Jurassic Park, Sci-fi city and WaterWorld! Overall the place was good.

A sudden plan among our backpackers emerged to explore the west coast with on Mar 2009. We thought of many places in the west coast and narrowed it to Gokarna. The place was mesmorizing.  It is said that  the atma linga was brought here by Ravana and he was forced to leave it here. The Gokarna beach was very scenic and unpolluted. One should catch the glimpse of the sunset @ the beach. The next morning we thought of seeing the sunrise @ Om beach (Its west coast!). We woke up early and started trekking @ around 4.30am and reached Om beach@ 5.45am. It was very cold and we were searching for a vantage point and found a hill top to watch the sun rise. It was worth every second!!! We were engulfed by Mother Nature. Nature was at its best. I would rate Om beach as one of the best beaches in Asia. Its worth every second spending there and you wont regret it.
