The last time we enjoyed Sams Anchor Inn was 1972.We dined there whenever a opportunity occurred  and no other restaurant in the WORLD brings back the memories as does Sams. The Kobe beef and drinks were superb and unparalleled. I speak regularly with many of my old squadron mates and our experiences at Sams. It was at Sams that the we Squadron pilots planned a mooning of our CO who was a Capt at the time...Easily the best Kobe beef in the world and we have experienced what the rest of the world has to offer.
