Hamburg's long nights roll right into the early morning at the Hamburg Fischmarkt. Rent a boat near at the Hotel near the Volta Bridge. You can drive on the lake to the Dam. The Hotel has also a small Zoo with crocodiles, monkeys and snakes. The palace complex consists of the old palace, the new palace (1970), the King's courts, the Queen Mother's Palace, Secretariats and an Institute of Ashanti Studies. It is open throughout the week and can be toured with the permission of the Public Relations Officer. Once every six weeks, there is Adae"" festival at the Palace when the King turns out in all his golden regalia. It is a two storey building, with open verandahs and eight rooms are open to visitors. This Royal Museum houses drums and palanquins which are over hundred years old. There are also the effigies of the late Otumfuo Osei Agyeman Prempeh I, Otumfuo Osei Agyeman Prempeh II, Otumfuo Opoku Ware II and the present Monarch Otumfuo Osei Tutu II. Also at the Museum is the effigy of Nana Yaa Asantewaa, the warrior queen-mother of Ejisu and some guns used during her war in 1900. In 2004, the Canadian Museum of Civilization repatriated some artifacts taken away during the Yaa Asantewaa War of 1900, a war drum and a royal stool taken from the Palace of the queen-mother of Adansi. One by one they leave their homes and set out together. They decide to go to Bremen, known for its freedom, to live without owners and become musicians there. On the way to Bremen, they see a lighted cottage; they look inside and see four robbers enjoying their ill-gotten gains. Standing on each other's backs, they decide to perform for the men in hope of gaining food. Their 'music' has an unanticipated effect; the men run for their lives, not knowing what the strange sound is. The animals take possession of the house, eat a good meal, and settle in for the evening. Later that night, the robbers return and send one of their members in to investigate. It is dark and he sees the eyes of the Cat shining in the darkness. He reaches over to light his candle, thinking he sees the coals of the fire. Things happen in quick succession; the Cat swipes his face with her claws, the Dog bites him on the leg, the Donkey kicks him and the Rooster crows and chases him out the door, screaming. He tells his companions that he was beset by a horrible redirect" title="Witch-witch who scratched him with her long fingers (the Cat), an ogre with a knife (the Dog), a giant who had hit him with his club (the Donkey), and worst of all, the dragon who screamed in his voice from the rooftop (the Rooster). The fall is only 4km away from the town on the Kintampo-Tamale highway.
