there are a few jumps in Queenstown The Nevis is so so good a jump of 134 meters not mutch of a screamer when it comes to these adventures i tried to scream my lungs out and and found my self still falling after my big out burst haha

very friendly people there and welcome you nicely rooms arn't luxury but in the end ya not in national park for that kind of experiance you are there for an adventure.
and that is exactly what they provide.

absolutly awsome place did the alpine crossing (hike) there. the scenery one will see is amazing starts of pretty easy and gets a little bit harder as ya climb up the devil staircase it seems like there is no end to it ha after that though it flattens out for a bit so your legs will get a bit of rest before going up even further once at the peack of the volcano the sights are just awdropping it is stlill active and kinda on the ridge of it you can feel the heat coming out of the ground and a sure sulfer smell at that point. the blue lakes surounding it are so clear i personally did not see it but one of the guys behind our group said someone went swimming in it i would not recommend that for all the sulfer and comming up from under the ground. also i hike this in the spring so there was a litlle bit of snow on the mountain i would amagine if hiking it in the summer could be realy hot and get tyerd quick still alot uf fun one of the best things i have ever done so be sure get out there and give it a try.

Did the nevis bungy several years ago and was truely one of the best things i have ever done will say it is a jump to work up to so as a first jump i would do the kawarau bridge jump. as far as the nevis goes just  head into town,  you'll then get picked up and cruze inland for a bit. once arrived just chill out take in the scenery and be sure too look down before you take the big leap lol.

nice place old style town few nice cafes and short ferry ride into the city there is also the nz navy on the door step. you can also take a short strole up the the hill there is also a calnnon on the hill from left over from WW2

wicked place to viset don't have to stay on the island great day out especially the snorkling and the under water mail box. as far as drinks were i found unless you like the tast of kava spirits were cheaper the a heineken.
