Page 1 of 10 My Reviews![]() Bovec, Slovenia ![]() Added Oct 6, 2011 If you are seeking something for yourselves, your soul and body, you will find it in and around Bovec. There is plenty of all that you secretly wish: well-preserved and wild nature, mountains, the emerald river with its tributaries, the gentle and unique combination of Alpine and Mediterranean climates, centuries of preserved tradition, genuine people, their excellent hospitality and diverse services. ![]() Santa Maria del Tule, Oaxaca State, Mexico ![]() Added Oct 5, 2011 Tule tree is amongst the oldest living trees in the world. With 10 meter diameter trunk it is also considered by many to be the broadest tree in the World. The appearance of the massive tree is that of multiple trunks fused together. The circumference of the trunk is an amazing 54 meters.Various contortions of the trunk give the appearance of the faces of goblins and monsters. In fact, if you visit you will be offered a tour of the tree by local school children (an official project) who will show you all manner of creatures hiding in the tree, including elephants and jaguars! This great ahuehuete (Montezuma cypress) specimen is still alive and growing, as can be seen by the dense foliage reaching 43 meters into the sky! ![]() Ljubljana, Slovenia ![]() Added Oct 5, 2011 Nice point of view to Ljubljana and surroundings. In sunny weather you can even see Alps. And there is a park where you can jog, walk. lay in the grass and read. ![]() Ljubljana, Slovenia ![]() Added Oct 5, 2011 Favorite meeting point and place in the heart of Ljubljana. Open concerts area too :) The statue of Slovenian poet France Preseren and his muse Julia is the main thing that helps you recognize it. ![]() Ljubljana, Slovenia ![]() Added Oct 5, 2011 It's small city, maybe the smallest capital you will visit but really cute and has it's charm. The capital where you can find peace and quiet if you need or sit in one of many bars and restaurants. The river Ljubljanica passing through the city gives all the loveliness to it. In 10 minutes walking you can be in the nature, in the woods, in the park. You can see it in one day, but if you stay more, you can experience hidden places and meet nice people. In summer there are lots of festivals, one that is happening in August is even for free. You can make great day trips to the mountains, caves and lakes and do lots of sport activities.
