The first big city and historical I every visited, so it will always have a special place in my hearth and memories. Visit Les Plaine d'Abraham where the faith of North America was for ever changed. Also, take the time to visit the home of the Royal 22e Régiment at the Citadelle de Quebec; you will be pleased.

If you like hiking and taking picturesque photos this is one of the best place to do it - Hohe Tauern National Park, Mount Untersberg, and Glasenbach Klamm - all offer great trails. The Weisse Taube in the old Salzburg town is a great place to stay.

Cape waters abound with fishes, hence the good chance that you will come upon some good seafood. Also, there is a great many ocean fishing charters (try Big Blue, they have good boats and gears - plus they know where the tunas are). Try the Table Bay at the Waterfront for lodging. If you have time, take a weekend at Bo La Motte Farm in Franschhoek (Western Cape)

Shilin Night Market and Raohe Street Night Market are two of the many night markets where you can buy excellent Formosa Oolong (dragon) Tea or Jasmine Tea – never leave Taiwan without one or both of these teas. Also, do visit the National Palace Museum in Taipei, really worth it even if you do not like museum.

Masca is small village in the Teno mountains in the northwestern most point of Tenerife; it offers a spectacular view of the surrounding range and ocean beyond. (Nice people, good simple food)

Kingston, Ontario, Canada the home of RMC, CFSCE, and now the 21 EW Regiment. (And BTW, it is where Fort Henry, a tourist attraction that as nothing to do with the CF, thank God...)

Best way to stay in Spitsbergen, and reasonable. (There is a service lounge at the campground, staff with very helpful people)

The hotel's design is contemporary and it's rooftop lounge offers a great view of the Savannah River and the historic district. The rooms are well appointed; and the service very good.
