Page 1 of 10 My Reviews![]() Saco, Maine, United States ![]() Added Apr 7, 2012 If you have one day then plan to do Splashtown early and then hit the rides later in the evening when its cooler. If you have 2 days then you can do Splashtown one day and Funtown the next. A combination ticket will get you into both parks on the same day and is probably the best value. Splashtown tends to fill up quick so stake out your chair early in the day or picnic table if you plan to bring your lunch. Some of the bigger rides can have some longer lines so hit those rides early if it fits your schedule. ![]() West Yellowstone, Montana, United States ![]() Added Apr 6, 2012 Enter the park really early and you can hear the coyote howl and the elk talking in the silence. If its early and in the early fall or spring the geysers will be steaming. You are likely to be one of the few in the park if you enter just before dawn. ![]() Saint Louis, Missouri, United States ![]() Added Apr 6, 2012 I wish I could tell you more but I haven't been since I was young and visited my grandmother in St. Louis. you can ride to the top in an elevator type contraption and see great views of the area. ![]() Auburn, Maine, United States ![]() Added Mar 24, 2012 It is a short hike to the top if you take the path striaght up. There are other trails to the top through the wooded area. Once you are at the top there is lots of quartz and micah. ![]() Keystone, South Dakota, United States ![]() Added Mar 17, 2012 I loved it. I found it very patriotic. The Ranger who sang the National Anthem sang the entire song which has more verses then most people know or are aware of. It was awesome to look at the monument and think of how it must have been to complete the task. ![]() New York, New York, United States ![]() Added Mar 17, 2012 Be sure to get here early to avoid the crowds. The ride to the top is quick and painless though a little ear popping is to be expected. The views at the top are spectacular overlooking New York and New Jersey. ![]() Niagara Falls, New York, United States ![]() Added Mar 17, 2012 Be sure to ask for a window seat. The restaurant revolves so that you have a 360 degree view of the falls and surrounding area. ![]() Washington, District of Columbia, United States ![]() Added Mar 17, 2012 It was really nice to visit Washington DC and see where our lawmakers work. The area is particularly beautiful at night and during cherry blossom season. ![]() Grand Canyon, Arizona, United States ![]() Added Mar 17, 2012 This lodge is right on the rim and offers spectacular views and wildlife on the property every morning. The dining room is great and people are wonderful! ![]() Buffalo, New York, United States ![]() Added Mar 12, 2012 Niagara Falls is extrememly majestic and very romantic if you are visiting with a significant other. It is wonderful for families with lots of activities to keep you busy and entertained. The falls never get old and be sure to look for a rainbow! ![]() Portland, Maine, United States ![]() Added Mar 11, 2012 The Old Port is where the crusie ships dock in the summer. There are some great eateries and shopping and during the summer there are several outdoor festivals. You can book a sightseeing cruise to see whales, islands, or lighthouses. ![]() Saint Thomas, Virgin Islands ![]() Added Mar 11, 2012 We were here for the day on our cruise and ended up at the Marriott and the beach area. While we were playing on the beach with a million other people the bushes start rustling and out pops a wild iguana. The staff told us that the staff and guests have fed this iguana fruit for so long that he is not shy any longer so he just joined us on the beach. This is one of those moments you can't buy or plan for. ![]() Grand Canyon, Arizona, United States ![]() Added Mar 11, 2012 This lodge is right on the rim and by that I mean you could fall over the canyon. It is absolutely breathtaking to see the Grand Canyon at sunrise and sunset. At sunrise you see mule deer all over the lawns so be sure to get up early to see the best that the Grand Canyon has to offer. ![]() Seattle, Washington, United States ![]() Added Mar 10, 2012 I was only in Seattle for 24 hours but I did want to see as much as possible during my very short stay. I got to see all of Seattle and the surrounding area from the observation deck. At the time there was a carnival at the base. I am not sure if it is there all of the time but it was cute. ![]() Saint Louis, Missouri, United States ![]() Added Mar 10, 2012 It has been a long time since I have been here but the arch is quite amazing. I understand you can ride a car up the arch although I did not get a chance to do this. ![]() Las Vegas, Nevada, United States ![]() Added Mar 10, 2012 This hotel is a great family hotel and has a lot of things to do for children and adults. It is also inexpensive compared to others on the strip. The views from the higher floors is spectacular. ![]() Acadia, Maine, United States ![]() Added Mar 10, 2012 The ocean surrounds Mount Desert Island and the nearby Acadia National Park is gorgeous. Drive the loop road or take the free shuttle to a variety of scenic views, hikes, and lunch at the Jordan Pond House Restaurant. ![]() Grand Canyon, Arizona, United States ![]() Added Mar 10, 2012 The pictures and even videos do not do this place justice. It is just so majestic! See it from several stops along the way. The trail that the mule's use to go down in the canyon can be walked but remember you have to walk back to the top. Be on the lookout for condor's flying in the area. ![]() Dallas, Texas, United States ![]() Added Mar 10, 2012 I have not been to many Farmer's Markets but this is how I imagine the one's in the big cities look. There are just mountains or great produce for next to nothing in cost. I bought all i could carry back to my motel that day. ![]() Sturbridge, Massachusetts, United States ![]() Added Mar 10, 2012 Well I haven't been there myself but I want to go. I hear it is a great place to visit. ![]() New York, New York, United States ![]() Added Mar 10, 2012 I was there before the memorial was built but I would love to see it now. In a busy city like New York there is only silence here. ![]() Williamsburg, Virginia, United States ![]() Added Mar 10, 2012 This is an old time village reconstructed. Be sure to do some of the evening walking tours and take time to see the little things like the children playing instruments from long ago or with toys from that era. Don't hurry! ![]() Seattle, Washington, United States ![]() Added Mar 10, 2012 This market is a really great place for strolling during your sightseeing or for picking up lunch to eat outside on a summer day by the water. ![]() Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada ![]() Added Mar 10, 2012 The Maid of the Mist is a boat ride under the falls. You will be given a raincoat becuase you will get wet! i recommend a waterproof camera for this trip! ![]() Springfield, Massachusetts, United States ![]() Added Mar 10, 2012 I was here for a cheering competition and otherwise would not have gone but it was really cool.
