Of all the restaurants I went to, this cheap place on Central Square in Granada was the clear winner. Order the Platos Typicos and you will have a diverse and amazing meal!

One of my favorite restaurants in the world. They have a lamb sausage with cardamon and pistachio that is simply the best sausage I have ever eaten in my life.

Theodoric the Great built it. Beautiful mosaic ceiling.

this is a chic place visually with a tourist crowd. However, the food is great. Check out the Schezuan beef with tea leaves. It is not just spicy, but sour, so it was very interesting

This is by far and away the best hot dog place in the USA. Everything from the basic dog to exotica such as boar, kangaroo, foie gras. Check it out!

One of the great museums. The Goya paintings are amazing. One can readily identify with the man, his arms outstreaching in an uncomprehending plea, as the guns are pointed at him, about to execute him. Really amazing. And then the Garden of Earthly delights, such a different painting obviously, with so much going on, it can take quite alog time to sort through all the different figures and scenes. The deposition of Christ by Roger van der Weyden and his teacher Robert Campin is incredible as well, simple, narrow, but so moving. Many delights await at the Prado!

This is of course one of the most amazing, inspirational interiors of the world. On the second floor gallery, when viewing the mosaic of Christ, it is helpful to view it not only close up, but from a distance. The colors blend in and the result is more painterly. Also, inevitably someone falls walking up the walk-way to the second floor gallery, so either wear rubber soled shoes, or just be carefull.

Burial place of almost all of the French Monarchs since Clovis I (465-511). Really a mind-bender. A masterpiece by Abbot Suger (1081-1155). Really a must see.

Perhaps the most beautiful stained glass in the world. Also, quite remarkable setting for Mozart's Requiem.

Wells Cathedral has a beautiful interior staircase. A ten great-grandfather of mine, John Still, was a Bishop there, and there is a memorial sculpture of him at his sepulchre.
