The water was dirty and not for swimming, But it was so beautiful and peaceful place. ![]() Palmeira, Cape Verde ![]() Added Mar 12, 2009 It was very interesting to watch fishermen cut small tuna into smaller peaces. Great stop in a trip around the island of Sal. ![]() Ilha do Sal, Cape Verde ![]() Added Mar 12, 2009 Went there for two weeks and it was too little. Next time I'd love to spend three or four weeks there. The capeverdean "No Stress" athmosphere is unbelievable and you just want to stay there for the rest of your life. Ok, there isn't enough fresh water and nature is really dry and people are pretty poor, but it didn't matter. Beaches are amazing and so are the people. They are very friendly, although some men are very agressive with their selling, but they are from Senegal. Went there in the end of October and the season was just starting so not that much tourists. The great thing about the country is that it's new for tourists and hotels are just being build. Our hotel was Hotel Santa Maria, a small hotel without a pool but was nice. I recommend a trim around the island, seeing Palmeira, Espargos and the salt pools in Pedra de Lume. Get to know the locals and spend time with them. We did and got lots of friends. Did surfing too and really recommend it! The country is really expensive for tourist but people make it nice. ![]() Arquipelago de Cabo Verde, Cape Verde ![]() Added Mar 12, 2009 Went there for two weeks and it was too little. Now I'm 29 and last spring I went back with my friends (after spending three days in Orleans and seven in Paris) and was a bit afraid I'd be dissapointed. But no, I felt like a kid again when we saw the park and the castle. We were jumping around and goofing around, it was a great day. We spent about eight hours there and we had to run it through. There were lots unseen and I'm definitely going back someday! ![]() Crimmitschau, Saxony Region, Germany ![]() Added Mar 12, 2009 I've eaten the best ice cream here in Eis Cafe Venezia in Crimmitschau and also in Zwickau. It's not as expensive as it could bee and service is excellent. The colour of the ice cream is gorgeous and the taste is delicious. While enjoying the yummiest ice cream ever you can enjoy the sun and the beautiful city. The Cafe is in the Market place and it's easy to find. ![]() Rome, Lazio Region, Italy ![]() Added Jun 25, 2008 A place of relaxing and people watching.
