The city and its fortifications also extend for some distance along the cliff-tops, which are at about 70 meters (230 ft) elevation. The cliffs have been undercut by the ocean so that the buildings, which have been placed on the very lip of the precipice, appear to overhang it. The appearance from the sea is of a white city gleaming in the sun and suspended over the rough waters below.

You will have the best view over the city from the Table Mountain. Small restaurant on top. Walk ways. The sea looks also amazing up there, even if it should be foggy, which makes it look like you could jump on- like on cotton ;-)

The best palce to go. Some Restaurants and Cafe to relax just oposite the wonderful white Cathedral and a small hidden shop with lots of beautiful dresses, not even expensive....   Very lovely place...

Whoever goes to Bilbao has to see it.
