Bloody good fun time with the family.  Despite the excessive extra cost for staying at a hotel in the resort, and more particular, one closer to the actual attractions, the extra dollar is fully worth it, if you can afford it.  The overall experience is heightened considering you never leave the Disney resort, and the benefits of being allowed to enter the areas earlier than those from outside is a real plus for getting to see the busy stuff asap each day.
