I went to college here for a year.  What a beautiful campus with some great shopping areas right outside the gates.  It is a young hippy (yes i said hippy not hip) town.  So if you are into that sort of thing this is just the right place for you.  If not you can always just walk around and figure out which buildings were in Animal House

Good steakhouse and nice quiet atmosphere (however I have not been there on a weekend).  Right in downtown Clarksville and several cute shops and quiet streets to walk.  Very romantic area as long as it isn't college night.  APSU is right near there so I would recommend avoiding weekends if you are not into the "bar" scene.

Beautiful beaches by day.  Amazing beachfront clubs at night.  All you have to do is walk outside the hotel (most are situated on the beach) in your sandals, skirt, and bathing suit, and walk up and down the beach.  You will find great food, people, and clubs as you walk.

The thing to do on early Saturday morning is go to Ce La Vie and then shop at the farmer's market when in Sarasota.  Ce La Vie is a great french restaurant known for their delicious crepes and pastries.  A must try if you are in that area one early morning.  Seating is very limited but it is worth the wait, especially if it a beautiful day outside.

Love this art gallery.  You can get really nice paintings (mostly oil) for really cheap!  Staff there is super friendly and they frame/ship for a great bargain as well.

What is not to love.  You get a terrific view of Paris on one of the highest and oldest Hills Paris was built on.  One of the best ways to get there is by foot and take the route that leads through the artists district.  You will pass along many famous artists haunts including Picaso and Monet.
