You arrive at 5pm and enjoy the activities. Then at 7pm dinner starts which can be buffet style or family style depending on the package you get. Great for those of all ages. Drink prices range between $5 and $8 once you use up your 2 free drink coupons. Amazing scenery and sunset. Easy to drive yourself or take their bus. ![]() Seoul, Soul-t'ukpyolsi Province, South Korea ![]() Added Apr 20, 2009 The best Brazilian restaurant in Seoul. It's in Akpujong off the main drag. Green sign off of a side street, second floor. ![]() P'anmun-up, North Korea ![]() Added Feb 1, 2009 This is the north side of the DMZ, you can only access the DMZ from the south unless you take a trip through Cuba, China or Russia. But on the south side, I suggest the USO tour. You don't have to be part of the military to use the USO tour. Just bring your passport. You can google Seoul USO to get the information. An AMAZING trip. You'll see the border, infiltrations tunnels and museums. A must see. Not every day you can go to a "war zone" for a tour. ![]() Seoul, Soul-t'ukpyolsi Province, South Korea ![]() Added Feb 1, 2009 A great day trip. You can go on a cold wet day or a sunny day. Plenty to do inside and out. Young kids will love it. Their is even an ice skating rink in the middle. Something you've got to see. ![]() Seoul, Soul-t'ukpyolsi Province, South Korea ![]() Added Feb 1, 2009 Seoul Tower (or N. Seoul Tower, Namsan Tower or North Seoul Tower) is a must see. You can see the entire city from there. Go up during the day and and night. You can take Bus # 2 or 3 up to the top. You have to walk up a short steep hill to get up there. If you want to eat make reservations for N Grill or the less expensive restaurant. Plenty of photo ops. You can also take a cable car up to the top. You'll have to figure out how to do that. ![]() Tai Yue Shan (Lantau Island), Hong Kong (SAR) ![]() Added Jan 31, 2009 A great, small park. If you ahve small kids I highly suggest it. Keep in mind the season Monsoons and typhoons can hit the area. We missed a typhoon by about 5 days. The accommodations were great and I highly suggest going to the park on a week day. You'll be able to get on every ride. The food, is a western/eastern fusion so no one will starve. The Disneyland Hotel is a little more upscale than the Hollywood, but bother were great. Breakfast with the cast was a magical time. ![]() Baghdad, Baghdad Province, Iraq ![]() Added Jan 31, 2009 Not a good vacation spot. It's still pretty dangerous and will be for some time. ![]() Al Mawsil, Ninawa Province, Iraq ![]() Added Jan 31, 2009 Still dangerous. Too bad, could be quite a tourist location for those wanting to look at ancient artifacts. ![]() Bruges, West-Vlaanderen Region, Belgium ![]() Added Jan 31, 2009 Very picturesque! This is a must see. Often referred to as the Venice of Northern Europe. You have to go there. Plenty of places to eat and lots to see. You can walk around Bruge for days and enjoy a different section. ![]() Tokyo, Kantō Region, Japan ![]() Added Jan 31, 2009 We did a pod cast walking tour... it was great. The self paced tour was great. Lots to see, some places to grab some light snacks and food. You can easily get there by taking the subway/train. ![]() Tokyo, Kantō Region, Japan ![]() Added Jan 31, 2009 If you are into fish, it's something to see. But it's kind of overrated. If you want to eat, the food looked amazing. ![]() Tokyo, Kantō Region, Japan ![]() Added Jan 31, 2009 If you are a baseball fan, you've got to check out a Giants game. It's not like any game you've ever been to in the States. ![]() Mui Wo Kau Tsuen, Hong Kong (SAR) ![]() Added Jan 31, 2009 A fantastic scenic, gondola ride takes you up the mountain to the worlds largest seated Buddha. Well worth the trip. It's very touristy, but a great trip. Be ready to walk if you want to walk all the way up the stairs. Very easy to get to taking the subway. ![]() Seoul, Soul-t'ukpyolsi Province, South Korea ![]() Added Jan 17, 2009 Take a cab to Ak'pujong, (Rodeo Drive) The sign is a pink neon monkey face. Head on down the side streets to find it. Great bar, with good western music. If you stay long enough you'll see the fire show. Prices are reasonable. They have lockers to put your stuff into. ![]() Mackinac Island, Michigan, United States ![]() Added Jan 10, 2009 Get some fresh fudge. They make it right in front of you. ![]() Seoul, Soul-t'ukpyolsi Province, South Korea ![]() Added Jan 10, 2009 If you like to eat meat, go here. It's off of the Sinsa station (just after Akpujong). Take Exit 1. Walk straight down the street about 200 meters. Take the side street that goes slightly uphill on a 45 degree angle. A meal costs W25,000. you'll eat till you burst. Each course is better than the previous. (you know you missed it if you passed the Paris Baguette on the other side of the street) ![]() Tokyo, Kantō Region, Japan ![]() Added Jan 1, 2009 If you want fresh fish go here. You'll know you are at the right pace when you get off the subway... the smell hits you right in the face. Lots of shopping and food to eat. Well worth the trip. ![]() Xenia, Ohio, United States ![]() Added Dec 23, 2008 The place is always packed and the service is pretty good. I miss it. Very affordable and you can grab a beer. ![]() Sackets Harbor, New York, United States ![]() Added Dec 20, 2008 The BEST breakfast I've ever had. It's worth the wait. Go in the summer and you can sit outside. The food is fabulous. ![]() P'yongt'aek, Kyonggi Province, South Korea ![]() Added Dec 20, 2008 Great price and fantastic food!
