Each year, hundreds of artists and afficiandos of Middle easter dance, a.k.a, "belly dance" make the journey to this neck of the woods, outside greater San Francisco. The Solano County Fair Grounds are the new home to Rakkasah, the world's oldest International Bellydance fair (founded in 1980). Here' you'll find a dancer's dream emporium of costumes, implements, instruments, veils, make up jewelry, music, dvds, books and anything needed for dance! With 24 hours over 3 days of non-stop dance on 2 stages, you can can your fill and then some of both amature and Internationally recognized talent.

This lush green valley was once home to cattle and livestock.
